DEALING WITH ACADEMIC STRESS (3)

Hi there, I am Dolapo Kayode, a student of Babcock University and a lover of Christ. School stress is inevitable, however there are practical steps I take and I believe you can do and too in order to handle School pressure:

How you deal with academic stress
1.) Trust God,
It takes off all the unnecessary pressure of  you and strengthens you

2.) Prepare
You’re more confident when you prepare. If you’re prepared for a test or exam, you’re more confident when it is time to write it because you know you’ve put in the work to prepare for it

3.) Plan
Have a timetable
Write out your goals for the day
A lot of time when we put to paper all the seemingly enormous tasks, we find that they aren’t that impossible to do.

4.) Reward yourself
When you do well or smash that goal, don’t just move pass it. Treat yourself to something even if it’s ice cream or something, celebrate the small wins

5.) Pray
Praying will keep you. It does more *in* you than for you. You come out emboldened and strengthened

6.) Study the Word
The word encourages
1 Samuel 30:6, The word says to encourage yourself in the Lord. On some days it will seem like you’re all alone in this word, that’s all the more reason to encourage yourself, write out affirmations from Scripture, study the word and obey what it says.
